Wakeboarding at CWC

Our Bicolandia Adventure will never be complete without trying wakeboarding at the Camsur Watersports Complex in Pili, Camarines Sur. The sports Aga Muhlach made real famous to us Pinoys.

We arrived at the venue around 10 o'clock in the morning of April 10, 2011 Saturday. The place is already full when we arrived at the Wakeboarding Station.
Wakeboarding Station. This is where you register and pay and get your  helmet and vest.
Wakeboarding Do's and Don'ts

And since it is a weekend and vacation time, the registration list is already full and have to place our name on the waiting list.We were 25th on list. Imagine that! And we had to wait for about 4 hours before we were able to play. But I tell you now, it's worth the wait. I've learned from an employee that weekdays and school days are the best time to try wakeboarding since they have few people at complex, you don't have to wait in queue.

We took pictures of the place and watched the wakeboarders while waiting for our names to be called.

Bringing of food and drinks in the park is not allowed. Food and beverages are available inside the park. We bought our lunch at the CWC Clubhouse. The price is the same as eating in a restaurant.

They also have henna tattoo booth beside the lake. My sisters and nephew had their tattoos.

Other stuffs people does while passing the time....

And the time came....
It's already 2:30 PM when my name is called to the Wakeboarding Station to register and pay the rate and get our equipments. One can pay an hourly rate, half-day or whole day. They even have night wakeboarding. Due to time constraint, I paid for an hour rate and deposited Php 500 for the equipment. After paying, you will be given your helmet and vest and a wrist tag indicating up to what time you can play.

The thrill of wakeboarding is not on long you will stay on top of the board, the real deal is in the art of falling. :) Feel the excitement as you splash yourself into the waters and sending sprays everywhere.

Against the general notion, wakeboarding is not an expensive activity. What's expensive is the transportation and the time spent on travelling to get to CWC. After trying it once, I want to try it again. I might even make it my sports he he! We really had a great time at the CWC even before we used up our time, we were already making plans of going back there.
