How can I ever forget this girl I've just met
She offered me poetry the first time her eyes set on me
My gracious grace! you should have seen my face
For when she started to speak
'Tis the Alphabet Song she sang. oh, so sweet
But that just wasn't it cause as I make my leave
She tried to stop me by holding my sleeves
She asked if I can be swayed
I said, "No, Imust be on my way.
Thank you for the song but I cannot stay"
Thus saying that I begin to walk away
When again she grabbed me by the hand and say
"As long as I remember my ABC,
It is you that I'll see constantly"
